Anegados and El Morro are two popular dive sites in Banderas Bay, Mexico, known for their underwater rock formations, rich marine life, and excellent diving conditions.
● Anegados: A submerged seamount located between Islas Marietas and El Morro. It's a great spot for intermediate to advanced divers, offering underwater arches, tunnels, and caves. You can find white-tip reef sharks, manta rays, moray eels, and large schools of fish.
● El Morro: A series of rocky pinnacles rising from the ocean, located a bit farther offshore. It’s known for its deep dive sites, strong currents, and dramatic underwater caves. Marine life includes giant manta rays, whale sharks (seasonal), dolphins, and even hammerhead sharks.
